Individuals who have an illness or injury that is not life-threatening, but can’t wait until the next day, should be treated at an Urgent Care clinic. Urgent Care provides easy to access medical care for the times that your primary physician is not immediately available or their office is closed. Who will provide my medical care?

Our urgent care doctors are all highly skilled and experienced Emergency Room physicians. Our medical team—physicians, physician assistants, nurses, etc.—are dedicated to providing excellent medical care in a compassionate, respectful manner.

The clinics operate on a “first come, first serve” basis.

Can I refill a prescription through the urgent care clinic?

Yes. Our doctors are able to prescribe almost any medication, excluding narcotic & controlled substances.

Are walk-in / urgent care visits covered by OHIP?

Yes, these services are covered by OHIP. Please bring your health card with you.

VIRTUAL CARE CLINIC:

How does virtual care work?

We are powered by Ocean by CognisantMD and Medeo Conferencing. To begin, request a secure conversation with one of our doctors. Your virtual visit will be covered by OHIP, just register with your Health Card information and we’ll take it from there. Once your appointment is confirmed, a doctor will call you during the window of your reservation or as soon as they’re finished helping the other patients in line.

When should I use virtual care?

Our doctors are happy to speak with you about a variety of issues and ailments. Whatever you would go to a walk-in clinic for, you can visit our Virtual Care Clinic as well. Some issues/ailments may include but are not limited to: 

  • Cold and/or Flu symptoms
  • Eye infection, pinkeye, or styes
  • Sick notes
  • Medication renewal
  • Sore Throat
  • Head lice
  • Cold sores
  • UTIs
  • Reproductive Health (Erectile dysfunction, contraceptives, etc)
